Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar, for rolling
Instructions:
Mix the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl
Cream the melted butter and powdered sugar in a separate bowl
To the butter-sugar mixture, add the eggs and vanilla extract, and stir until thoroughly blended
Mixing until a dough forms, gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ones
Refrigerate the dough for a minimum of two hours or overnight, covered
Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
After letting the dough cool, roll it into 1-inch balls and dust them all over with powdered sugar
The dough balls coated in sugar should be placed on the baking sheet that has been prepared, spaced about 2 inches apart
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cookies are set and have wrinkles, in a preheated oven
Take the cookies out of the oven and allow them to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool down completely
