Ingredients:
- 8 oz angel hair pasta
- 2 shallots, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 lemon zest and juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving optional
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to cook angel hair pasta until it is al dente
Remove the water and set it aside
Warm up the olive oil in a big pan over medium-low heat
Put in the garlic and shallots, and saut them until they smell good and become clear
Put broccoli florets in the pan and cook them for 5 to 7 minutes, until they are soft but still crunchy
Add the cooked pasta and the lemon juice and zest to the pan
Toss everything together until its all well mixed and hot
Add pepper and salt to taste
If you want, you can add grated Parmesan cheese on top while its still hot
